Rock and Roll Hall of Famers Jorma Kaukonen and Jack Casady have been playing and performing together for over forty-five years, from their high school days in The Triumphs through Jefferson Airplane, which Jorma co-founded and named, and the many incarnations of Hot Tuna, which Jorma and Jack founded together. Now, with an all acoustic Hot Tuna tour, these two fine musicians celebrate the compelling mixture of rock, blues, folk, and country that have distinguished their long collaboration. Featuring Jorma's brilliant finger-picked fretwork and songwriting and Jack's expert melodic bass work, the current Hot Tuna shows are an opportunity to witness two lifelong friends coming together once again to make extraordinary music. |
